Guatemala: Ahmadi Muslims campaign to disassociate Islam from violence


Because of their (ISIS') acts, those who belong to the religion of Islam are put in an unfair position and it hurts them.

The Muslim community in Guatemala, at a press conference, rejected the accusations made worldwide to link Islam with terrorism.

Abdul Sattar, president of the Ahmadiyya Community, said that the word Islam means peace, love and brotherhood and those who make up the "State", known as ISIS, are associated with violence and terrorism.

He added that because of their (ISIS') acts, those who belong to the religion of Islam are put in an unfair position and it hurts all Muslims.

Sattar said that in Guatemala and around the world, this community has made humanitarian campaigns.
