FLINT, MI -- Humanity First USA has partnered with the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community of the Detroit Metropolitan area and doubled last week's donation of 52,400 bottles of water to 104,800 bottles for the Flint water crisis.

Water was delivered to two senior citizen homes, a local YMCA, three churches and to the Flint general public in need. At the Salem Lutheran Church, cars lined up down the street full of families in need of clean water.

The organization is continuing to partner with other local community groups. In addition to receiving 600 bottles from neighboring churches of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Center including St. Thomas More, the group picked up the Troy Interfaith Group's donation of water on Feb. 1.

The organization is continuing to accept water donations locally in Rochester Hills, Troy, and the Detroit Metropolitan area.
