As misconceptions regarding Islam have become prevalent, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama'at is inviting Canadians to visit its mosques this week to experience firsthand the true and peaceful teachings of Islam.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama'at Canada launched its nationwide Visit a Mosque campaign last Sunday.
Local chapters of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama'at across Canada, including the Baitur Rahman Mosque at 9570 River Rd. in Delta, will be hosting events and visual exhibitions as well as meet-and-greets.
"This campaign provides an excellent opportunity for Canadians to meet their Muslim neighbours, friends and fellow citizens, and learn how Muslims truly live and practice their religion," said Lal Khan Malik, national president of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama'at Canada.
