Annual campaign launched by Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada
The annual campaign, launched by Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada, offers Canadians the chance to participate in Ramadan, which began Monday, June 6 and lasts 30 days.
“As we enter the holy month of Ramadan, I invite my fellow Canadians to experience the spiritual uplifting provided by Ramadan and take part in this unique campaign,” Lal Khan Malik, president of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada, said in a release.
The campaign gives Canadians an opportunity to experience how to start, keep and break a fast, while learning why fasting during Ramadan is a core tenet of Islam.
