Qadian, India: Thousands of Ahmadiyya Muslims offer Eid Adha Prayers at Masjid Darul Anwar
Muslims offered sacrifices of animals in a mark of respect and homage, and to commemorate the sacrifices offered by Prophet Abraham and his son Prophet Ismail to Allah.

QADIAN, India: The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community celebrated Eidul Adha here in Qadian today to mark the sacrifices offered by Patriarch prophet Abraham.
At this International Headquarter of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, thousands of Muslims offered prayers at Masjid Darul Anwar near Sarae Tahir, Civil Line, Qadian where Maulana Mohammad Inaam Ghori, Chief Secretary of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamat India, led the prayer.
Addressing the gathering, Maulana Ghori appealed to all Muslims to follow the right path showed by the Prophet Mohammed and follow the 'sunnah' (tradition) of the Prophet Ibrahim and be ready to sacrifice everything for the sake of God.
After the Eid Sermon, Muslims raised their hands for silent prayers led by Maulana Ghori. People greeted by hugging and embracing each others.
The State Minister Punjab and Chairman ITI Board Punjab, Jathedar Sewa Singh Sekhwan, visited the Ahmadiyya Headquarter to express his Eid Greetings to the Ahmadiyya Community. On this Occasion Jarnail Singh Mahal President Municipal Committee Qadian, Bhartiya Janta Party Qadian president, Ashok Sharma, Colonel Balraj Singh Ghuman, Captain Charnjeet Singh also extend their Eid Greetings to the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.
A special feast prepared by Langar Khana (kitchen) of the Promised Messiah, including special dishes of salty rice Pla'o, and sweet yellow rice Zarda, were served to the gusts.
Special arrangements were made for women’s to offer Eid Prayers in Qadian.
Muslims offered sacrifices of animals in a mark of respect and homage, and to commemorate the sacrifices offered by Prophet Abraham and his son Prophet Ismail to Allah. The meat from the slaughtered animal was distributed to the poor and the needy.
