The Greater Accra Missionary of the Ahmadiyya Mosque at Tema Community Five, Maulvi Raghib Zia-ul- Haq has appealed to Muslim youth not to entertain any political party which will use money to influence them to foment trouble during the election period.
Speaking to Radio Ghana, he explained that Islam stands for peace urging them to help maintain it.
Maulvi Raghib Zia-ul- Haq cautioned the youth against recklessness during the celebration.
In Kumasi, the Ashanti Regional Missionary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission, Maulvi Hamid Tahir, says the global Ahmadyya community is looking up to Ghana and the world for peace in these times as a result of the prophesy by its Head concerning a possible third world war.
According to him, the Ahmadyya global head himself has declared his intention to travel to Ghana in for which reason Ghanaians cannot afford to disappoint the Ahmadiyya community by doing things that could plunge the country into chaos, particularly in this year’s electioneering.

However, the tenets of the Islamic faith forbids them to join any group of people or undertake any activity or behaviour that could create conflict or chaos in the society particularly as the nation goes to the polls this year to elect new political leaders.
