UK: MTA International launches new Muslim TV channel for Africa


The new channel aims to spread the true and peaceful Islam teachings in local African languages and participate to the moral training of Ahmadi Muslims residing in Africa.

The Islamic television group MTA International, part of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community, launched a new channel for African people named MTA International Africa.

Active since last Month, the new channel was launched at the MTA International London Studios by the World Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, the Fifth Khalifa, His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad. The channel is already in Accra, Ghana, with two newly built studios.

The new channel aims to spread the true and peaceful Islam teachings in local African languages and participate to the moral training of Ahmadi Muslims residing in Africa. It will also broadcast content specially tailored for African populations. Programmes will also be broadcasted from the Accra studios.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim community of Mali has already established 15 radios with the main one –Rabwah Fm- broadcasting from Bamako, the capital.
