The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community will hold an exhibition on the Holy Quran at Huddersfield Town Hall on Saturday 8th April 2017. The programme will be held from 11:00 till 15:00.
The public is welcome to come and see for themselves what this book really represents. It is hoped that through this exercise we shall be able to dispel many of the misconceptions that may have arisen about Islam and its teachings.
This effort has already received enthusiastic support of many including the local MP’s, Councillors and other leaders of the community. Our aim is to bring communities of different faiths together in a spirit of mutual respect and solidarity.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community‘s motto is ‘Love for All, Hatred for None’. As part of our mission to serve mankind, we promote education and health across the developing world as well as leading a global peace campaign to champion justice, loyalty, freedom, equality and respect for all. The exhibition will show that the teachings of the Holy Quran shun violence and intolerance exhibited by the extremist groups of the middle east and is in essence a book promoting peace harmony and happiness for us all. This exhibition will put on display the many translations that have been completed and will be an eye opener for all who attend.

Fatihul-haq, president of Ahmadiyya Muslim Association Huddersfield South said:
"Living in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic and multi-religious society, we are enriched by this diversity and are able to draw on the distinctive strands of each community to create a more vibrant society. In addition, let us not forget we have a great deal in common and this should bring people together. Although religion can be seen as divisive, in essence, it is a force that unites communities. Through understanding and learning about each other, we can remove these misunderstandings and create a stronger society."
