UK: Ahmadiyya Bangla Desk Holds Discussion Meeting of Life of Holy Prophet Muhammad


Islamic scholars have examined the status of the Holy Prophet SAW as a role model and leader not in a sectional framework, but from a unified perspective

Bangla Department Ahmadiyya Muslim Association UK organised a discussion meeting on Life of Holy Prophet Muhammad SAW on Sunday 6th August 2017 at East London based Baitul Ahad Mosque.

Presided over by Dr Abdullah Zakaria, In-Charge Bangla Department UK, the meeting started with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an by Mr Fuad Alam. The English translation of the recited verses of the Holy Qur’an was read out by Mr Afraaz Zakaria while Mawlana Mubarez Ahmad Sunny of Central Bangla Desk read out the Bangla translation of the recited verses.

Mr Tayeed Alam rendered a poem in praise of Holy Prophet SAW and the English translation of this poem was read out by Mr Mashood Ahmad.

Mr Muahmmad Abdul Hadi, Coordinator of this discussion program made his address of welcome. In his speech Mr Abdul Hadi stressed the need for holding this type of discussion program. He said that Holy Prophet SAW was sent as a mercy for the entire humanity. He also pointed out the purpose of advent of the Promised Messiah as per the grand prophecy made by the Holy Prophet SAW and the various activities of Ahmadiyya Muslim Association carrying out all over the world as per the noble teachings of Holy Prophet SAW.

Mawlana Feroz Alam, In-Charge - Central Bangla Desk spoke on the topic, ‘Muhammad SAW - a Messenger of Peace’. He mentioned innumerable attributes of Holy Prophet SAW to be followed in today’s unrest world. Mr Alam pointed out that Peace is unexpected and unimagined without proper practice and following up the noble traits of the life of Prince of Peace – Muhammad SAW .

Muhtrum Mubasher-Ur-Rahman, National Amir, Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Bangla Desh addressed the meeting as Chief Guest. In his address he advised the audience on importance of invoking Darood on Holy Prophet SAW. It is simply Darood which can reward a man at the highest spiritual status, he added. He said Darood ensures success and achievement in our daily life.

Dr Abdullah Zakaria, In-Charge Bangla Department UK made his concluding speech over this discussion meeting. He read out from the writings of the Western Scholars views about Holy Prophet SAW . In the name of Jihad what so called Muslims are doing today is never the teachings of Muhammad SAW , he mentioned. He said Islamic scholars have examined the status of the Holy Prophet SAW as a role model and leader not in a sectional framework, but from a unified perspective, and they have reached the conclusion that the best method is to examine the verses of the Holy Quran that determine and demonstrate the status of the Prophet as a whole.

The entire program was conducted by Mr Mansoor Ahmad, Secretary- Bangla Department UK. At the end of this meeting a question answer session was held and Mawlana Feroz Alam, In-Charge Central Bangla Desk gave the answers of various questions raised by the audience.

Earlier to the beginning of this program lunch was served after combined Zohar & Asr Prayer.

The discussion meeting concluded with the silent prayer led by Muhtrum Mubasher-Ur-Rahman, National Amir, Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Bangla Desh.
