A three member delegation from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Sri Lanka (AMJSL) comprising Mr. A. Abdul Aziz, Press Secretary and National Director Faith Outreach – AMJSL, Moulavi A.B. Musthaq Ahmad – Chief Missionary (AMJSL), and Murabbi Javid Raheem, visited Ministry of Justice and met Justice Minister of Sri Lanka Honorable (Mrs.) Thalatha Athukorale in Colombo recently (6 October 2017).
Introducing Ahmadiyyat to the Minister, it was pointed out that the Ahmadiyya Community is the only sect in Islam which has universal leadership established by God almighty. The delegation went on to say about the tireless efforts being made by the Khalifa and the Ahmadiyya worldwide leader, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, by spreading the true teachings of Islam through various means, particularly addressing lawmakers at Capitol Hill, EU Parliament, UK Parliament, Ireland Parliament, New Zealand Parliament, Dutch Parliament, Canada Parliament and several others.
Minister was told that Holy Qur’an is an open book and open to all – our Motto is: Love For All: Hatred For none. For this very reason, this Holy Book is being gifted to the Honorable Minister, the delegation added. On hearing this, Minister expressed her willingness to have such a wonderful gift and said: Best of Luck.

The Sinhala Translation of this book as well as Sinhala Translation of Teachings of Islam, written by Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad – the Promised Messiah and Imam-al-Mahdi, peace be on him, were also gifted to the Minister.
