In the face of natural disasters, terrorist attacks and mass shootings severing humanity’s very limbs, I, as an Ahmadiyya Muslim, strive to prevent loss and to save the sacred lives of all. Honoring this greater Jihad, I join Connecticut Muslims for Life in transforming our Baitul Aman House of Peace Mosque into a blood drive donation site, not once or twice but, three times a year in collaboration with American Red Cross.

Long ago, the Holy Quran and Talmud both revealed that “to save even one life is rewarded as if the whole world has been saved.” Similarly, one pint of your blood can save up to three lives. Don’t miss out on working this miracle at a familiar sanctuary in a time of rising need alongside patriotic Muslim neighbors who believe the Messiah, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, came to end religious warfare and dispense every healing.

So join us in practicing “love for all, hatred for none,” as the season of giving approaches by winning back what humanity is losing, Dec. 9 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at 410 Main St., Meriden.
