UK: Ahmadiyya Muslim Women Association of Newcastle Donate Gifts to Elderly in Hebburn

Christmas gifts for Windsor Care home Residents were donated by Women of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Newcastle
Women Auxiliary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Newcastle, contributed to purchase gifts for the elderly people at Windsor Care Home.
The women bought beautiful warm shawls and scarves for the intended reciepients.
"I, along with Humaira Saeed and Maria Butt, [co-organizers,] packed gifts beautifully and went to the care home to deliver the gifts and cards which were loved by all residents of Windsor Carehome," said Shafia Saeed, organizer of the donation effort.
Ahmadi Muslims everywhere take pride in their outreach efforts, specially during the holidays.
“We don’t celebrate Christmas ourselves but we try to share some beautiful moments with lonely elderly people and distribute gifts to them," said Saeed.
"This is truly driven by our faith to serve humanity and this is one of the way of doing it," she added.
