Sri Lanka: Quran Sinhala Translation gifted to Minister of Power and Renewable Energy
Secretary to the Minister had pointed out to the Minister; these are the Muslims really having love and loyalty to their Nation. These are the people coming here to gift the Qur’an to the Minister, Private Secretary added while on introducing.

'Hon. Ranjith Siyambalapitiya said that he will read the Holy Qur’an Sinhala Translation as well as the Sinhala Translation of the book World Crisis and the Pathway to Peace'
A three member delegation from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Sri Lanka (AMJSL) comprising Mr. A. Abdul Aziz, Press Secretary and National Director Faith Outreach – AMJSL, Moulavi A.B. Musthaq Ahmad – Chief Missionary (AMJSL), and Mr. I. Shakeel Ahmad (Photographer) visited to Ministry of Power and Renewable Energy in Colombo recently (21/02/2018).
Ministry Officials welcomed the delegation and arranged to meet Hon. Ranjith Siyambalapitiya, Minister of Power and Renewable Energy.
Private Secretary to the Hon. Minister Mr. Janath Fernando who introduced the delegation to the Minister, recalling the incident happened on 4 February 2018 – Independence Day of Sri Lanka. On that day, Minister with the Private Secretary happened to witness the flag hoisting ceremony organized by Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Pasyala, on their way to Colombo from Kandy. At that time, Secretary to the Minister had pointed out to the Minister; these are the Muslims really having love and loyalty to their Nation. These are the people coming here to gift the Qur’an to the Minister, Private Secretary added while on introducing. Hon. Ranjith Siyambalapitiya said that he will read the Holy Qur’an Sinhala Translation as well as the Sinhala Translation of the book World Crisis and the Pathway to Peace and commanded the task done by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.
The same gift also presented to the Private Secretary to the Hon. Minister Mr. Janath Fernando on request. While accepting, he compared Islam with Buddhism in some aspects and remarked, Islam is a practical religion.
Jama’at delegation also visited to the Ministry of Public Administration & Management and met Hon. Sumedha Galgamuwa Punchinilame, Deputy Minister of Public Administration and Management. While accepting, Holy Qur’an Sinhala Translation as well as the Sinhala Translation of the book World Crisis and the Pathway, the Minister remarked, there are very few such people in the world who do this noble task of spreading peace and added he will read.
