Sierra Leone: President Bio to Attend Ahmed Jalsa Salana 2019, informs Ahmadiyya Amir

The Amir and Missionary in Charge of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission in Sierra Leone, Amir Saeed-Ur-Rahman has disclosed in a press conference recently that, the President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Retired Brigadier Julius Maada Bio has consented to attend and officially open the 2019 Jalsa Salana , in a bid to demonstrate inclusiveness in encouraging religious tolerance.  (Photo: Amir Saeed-Ur-Rahma)

According to the Head and Missionary in Charge of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat in Sierra Leone, Amir Saeed-Ur-Rahman has initially stated during the press conference that this year JALSA SALANA is to share religious experience and teachings which in turn would benefit and guide the Muslim family.

The Amir and Missionary in Charge continued that, the primary purpose of the 56th Jalsa Salana is to showcase religious activities that would benefit and defend the Muslim community peacefully, adding that its secondary purpose is to promote cordiality, participatory, sincerity and faithfulness among Muslim Communities at home and abroad.

Amir Saeed-Ur-Rahman has before now announced that the Annual Jalsa Salana conference would take place on the 8th to the 10th February 2019 at the usual Headquarter venue, Ahmadiyya Muslim Secondary School Campus in Bo, Kakua Chiefdom, South of Sierra Leone and that His Excellency the President, Retired Brigadier Julius Maada Bio has consented to attend and officially open the ceremony with his entourage.

He said the platform is expected to last for three days and that Ahmadiyya Jalsa Salana usually bring all kinds of people across the world to have Islamic teachings with excellent Islamic scholars including local Imams and heads of Islamic Missions. He said the Mission has also invited important Islamic Religious Bodies for the occasion including Christian Missions with official invitation.

“We are expecting the President, Cabinet Ministers, MPs, and even Teachers, Lawyers, Medical Professionals were also expected to attend this year’s Islamic conference,” Amir and Missionary in Charge noted. And the mission is also expecting over one hundred Paramount Chiefs and section chiefs.

He prayed for traveling mercies to all participants and asked God to protect the gathering nothing that preparations are already in place to accommodate over twenty-five thousand Muslim Worshipers at the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission Campus with standard security measures.

He appealed to participants to observed protocols during the conference and preaches peace to each other, as he called on all to propagate the message of Islam in the best way possible.
