CNN producer note:

zshan911 says he is a member of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, which arranged for this sign to go up. He says he heard about the billboards in New York and seen iReports about them, and wanted to share an iReport about this event as well. zshan911 says he was out handing fliers a bit ago and adds that he hopes people will see this message over the holidays.

iReport —

Right on 42nd street in times square in the middle of thousands of ads trying to promote everything from sports to food to entertainment you have a group of Muslims promoting peace. The ad reads Muslims for Peace, Muslims for Love, Muslims for Loyalty, gives a number 1800 WHY ISLAM and the name of the sponsor organization The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. This is a very nice gesture on a part of a Muslim group to give the message of peace during the time of Christmas and New Years.
