The first quarter final produced one of the games of the tournament. Middlesex posted 146-9 from 18 overs - Amir Ahmed smashing sis sixes in his knock of 77 off 45 balls while ex-first class player Quaisar Mahmood made 48.

Muqami seemed to be doing well until former Middlesex colts player Mahmud Mirza produced a spell of 4-24 in four overs. With nine wickets down and one run needed of the last ball, Muqami won the match with a four of the last ball of the game.

Faroukh Ahmed made 31, Ahmed Sarfraz 24 and Mudassar Dogar 21.

The second quarter-final saw Masroor battle back from 45-8 from nine overs to post a target of 126-8 from 18 overs. Teenager Zaffar Butt (41 not out) led the revival with fellow youngster Wasseem Ahmed making 38 not out.

Atta Bisra 4-25, from the Tahir region, was the mainstay of the attack.

Tahir reached 127-4 from 16 overs in reply to win the match, left-hander Nasir Ahmed smashing 42 off 24 balls.

The third quarter-final saw, Baitun Noor reaching 152 from their 18 overs. Nasir Ahmed Fazi smashed 69 off 39 balls but Abeel Ahmed took 2-22 from his three overs.

In reply, Islamabad were all out for 120, Zeshan Anjum taking 2-3 in two overs.

A big score also proved too much to chase in the final quarter final as Baitul Fatuh made 160 from their 18 overs, former first-class cricketer Abid Ahmed smashing 75 off 42 balls.

Hertfordshire were all out for just 70, Adnan Saqib Ahmed taking 3-14.

The first semi-final saw Baitul Fatuh run out 40-run winners over Tahir.

Baitul Fatuh made 145-6 off 15 overs, Irfan Ahmed smashing 86 off 33 balls. Nasir Bisra took 3-15 in a fiery spell.

Current first XI skipper Laiq Mirza got Tahir off to a fine start, but they lost momentum and were all out for 105. Adnan Saqib Ahmed took 4-14 off three overs.

The second semi-final saw Baitum Noor post 133-8 off 15 overs despite Hasib Ahmed taking 3-16. Muqami were all out for just 72 in reply, thanks partly to Fazi e umar’s 3-15 in a great spell of medium pace bowling.

That meant Baitun Noor were up against Baitul Fatuh in an all-London final.

Baitun Noor made 120-6 off 20 overs, captain Zeshan Nasir top-scoring with 39.

Adil Yousuf then took 3-16 to leave Baitul Fatuh reeling on 20-3, but intelligent batting from Abix Ahmed (38) helped to spark a revival.

However, a one-handed catch near the boundary by Adil Shazad left Baitul Fatuh needing 27 runs from two overs.

Mohsin scored 17 off the first of them leaving 10 required off the final over.

But good leg spin from Khalil Ahmed guided Baitun Nur to victory as Baitul Fatuh finished six runs short on 114-8.
