9/11 will always be remembered as a day when a few individuals influenced and brainwashed by perverted ideologies, killed innocent Americans. This unprecedented human tragedy, however, brought the entire nation together and many volunteers worked day and night to save as many lives as they could although they themselves perished in the process. There are countless incidences of bravery and heroism coming out of this catastrophe, which has become part of American history worth remembering.
Various programs are organized on every anniversary in a befitting manner to remember our fellow citizens who became victims of this naked brutality.
Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, the oldest American Muslim organization has organized a national campaign to collect and donate blood to the needy by saving their lives. All the people belonging to various faiths and non-religious organizations have been approached to coordinate these efforts and this message has resonated well in bringing diverse communities together for this noble cause. Rotary Club and CarterCare have put in remarkable efforts to identify and plan the blood donation by partnering with the community in order to make it a success. The best gift we may offer to the souls of the martyrs is to save lives in need of blood. According to some medical experts one bottle of blood donated by one person can save three lives.
Various locations all across America have been scheduled to collect blood in the month of September, which can be located by browsing www.muslimsforlife.org
This is the time to unite and to prove that this nation cannot allow any group to hijack and monopolize the name of religion to promote their agenda, which negates the decree of the Creator. Our response is to save lives, serve the humanity in the best possible manner and to create a humane and loving society, where there is, "Love for all, hatred for none"
