Canada: World Religions Conference In Mission On February 7

Mayor of Mission Ted Adlem will be the Presiding Chair and Moderator of this great event. Admission is free for all and also refreshments will be served to all. Similar World Religions Conference will be held at Kamloops on February 11, 2012.

VANCOUVER – World Religions Conference will be held in Mission, near Abbotsford B.C. on February 7 from 6 to 9 PM at Clark Theatre, Heritage Center, Mission.

The conference is being organized by Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, B.C. in cooperation with Star of Sea Parish, Multi-faith Action Society, Guru Nanak School, Suman Sargam Music School and Sikh community.

Prominent speakers will highlight the humanitarian essence of their respective faiths while expressing views on the theme of “Existence of God and human suffering.”

Myoshin Kate McCandless will present Buddhism perspective, Dr. Richard Tropping, Christianity; Suman Sharma, Hinduism; Ab, Judaism; Muhammed Afzal Mirza, Islam; and Gian Singh Kotli will present Sikh perspective.
