Chicago, IL, February 17, 2012 --(PR.com)-- On Thursday, February 16, 2012, Humanity First USA Executive Director, Munum Naeem traveled to Haiti to meet with the Humanity First team and discuss plans for future humanitarian projects in local communities. Dr. Aslam Daud, the chairman for Humanity First Canada, also joined Mr. Naeem; the primary focus of their trip is to visit the Humanity First Primary School in Seguin, Haiti that is expected to open doors to over 200 students in April.
Two years after Humanity First disaster response teams provided relief in Haiti to the victims of catastrophic earthquake that devastated the country, Humanity First has sustained a presence by helping the local communities to rebuild Haiti and their lives. Dr. Clayton Bell serves as the Country Director to Haiti; with the assistance of MPH graduate and current medical student Kyle Denison Martin, he has established several successful Humanity First programs since 2010, including the Cloud Forest Medical Clinic in June 2010, which served over 12,000 impoverished Haitians.
