"Looking at the world around us in this day and age where the possibility of third World War is looming on our heads, one wonders, specially the people who posses wisdom and ponder over the destiny of the human race.”

Norcross — NORCROSS — Ahmadiyya Muslim community’s Georgia chapter is hosting the Islamic organization’s vice president Naseem Mahdi at 2:30 p.m. today.
He will be speaking about what happened to the second coming of the Messiah to bring the followers of all major religions together to discuss this common topic.
Mahdi plans to cover three topics: What do the holy scriptures of different major religions say about the coming of the second Messiah with the first Messiah being the Jesus of Nazarath, what signs have been mentioned and believed in different religions for the coming of the Messiah in the later days, and how the coming of the Messiah is supposed to unite mankind and help humanity.
“If we review the history of religions, the circumstances and conditions of human beings, specially from the spiritual standpoint, it has gone into similar cycles over the course of history — as they say, history repeats itself,” Organizer Nafees Rehman said in a recent email. “Similarly, God Almighty has repeated the same process of guidance and reformation for the mankind. Sometime with the gaps of the same time frame. Looking at the world around us in this day and age where the possibility of third World War is looming on our heads, one wonders, specially the people who posses wisdom and ponder over the destiny of the human race.”
The event will be held at Baitul Baqi Mosque located at 6113 Oakbrook Parkway in Norcross.
To reserve your spot, contact Rehman at 404-375-0563 or nafees502@yahoo.com. Light refreshments will be served. The event ends at 4 p.m.
