Ahmadiyya Muslim Community launches nationwide campaign to bring fellow Americans towards true peace
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community of the United States announced in a press release they are launching a new nationwide campaign that will offer holistic solutions to the nation’s problems.
"Just like the deteriorating world conditions," the press release reads, "millions in this country have suffered grief, injustice, unemployment, foreclosures and hardships – while a few in positions of power fed their own insatiable greed."
The community says the people are searching for peace - any kind of peace – social, economic, political, personal, and even interreligious peace.
This new campaign entitled 'Peace Through the Messiah,' the community said, will assert that peace can be achieved today only by accepting the Messiah.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim community believes that their founder, Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian, is the 'Promised Messiah' who was Divinely sent to bring humanity back to God and rid the world of all these issues.
The organizers says they launch this campaign with true respect, care and consideration for the well-being of its fellow citizens, in order to spread the teachings of Hadhrat Ahmad, whose appearance was foretold by many previous prophet.
Most faiths believe that Messiah will re-establish belief in God and demonstrate unity of mankind as the means to achieve true peace.
The press release said the Messiah, Hadhrat Ahmad, established peace through his personal communion with God.
"[Hadhrat] Ahmad’s teachings not only establish interreligious peace; his teachings also establish social, economic, political peace since they are based on absolute justice," the personal release further said. "Most importantly, [Hadhrat] Ahmad’s rational teachings establish belief in God and lead to individual peace between a person and God."
The nationwide “Peace Through the Messiah” campaign will start on May 22nd in Zion, Illinois.
The organizers say the campaign will be prepared to debate or dialogue on any topics regarding Islam.
