MUSLIMS, Christians, Sikhs, Scientologists and human rights workers united to celebrate the diverse population under the Queen's rule.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Association hosted a Pakistani-style barbecue at its new mosque in Langley Drive, Langley Green on Sunday.
The mosque was decorated with the Union flag, bunting and a special message of congratulation to Her Majesty.
Neighbours and guests were treated to kebabs and chicken tikka with salad and naan bread.
In a short ceremony Ahsan Ahmedi, the association's regional president, said: "We share in our country's pride and joy at Her Majesty the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
"As Muslims, we are duty bound to serve Queen and country and we regard this as an important part of our religion."
