USA: Eid al-Fitr celebrates renewal for Muslims


Abdus Salam Malik, president of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community of Columbus, said those who fast and perform good works during Ramadan become renewed.

The Islamic holiday Eid al-Fitr marks the end of the fasting month of Ramadan and is celebrated at mosques worldwide, including Ba’it ul Nasir in Groveport.

Abdus Salam Malik, president of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community of Columbus, said those who fast and perform good works during Ramadan become renewed.

The mosque’s guests included Worthington Mayor Harvey Minton, who told the gathering that “the more we understand each other, the more we can communicate and trust and love.”
