Members of Northern Virginia's Muslim community will host a Quran exhibition at Cascades Library, in the Sterling area, on Sunday, Aug. 5.
The purpose of the exhibition is to clear up misunderstandings about the Quran and make its teachings more widely known, according to Nasir Jadran, secretary of public relations for the North Virginia chapter of the Young Men's Auxiliary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.
The exhibit comes as Muslims all over the world, including members of the Mubarak mosque in Chantilly, are observing Ramadhan, a month set aside for prayer and fasting.
The community has translated the Quran into 73 languages. Many of these translations are rarely seen, but will be available for viewing at the library. The Ahmadiyya Muslim community's motto is "Love for All, Hatred for None."
The library is located at 21030 Whitfield Place, Potomac Falls. The exhibit will run from 1:15 p.m. to 4 p.m.
