Foreign delegates to the Ahmadiyyas convention yesterday called for all Muslims to play a role in removing the misunderstanding and misgivings about Islam in the world and highlight the beauty of Islam in their respective capacities.

Everyone who believes in Islam should establish peace and a brotherly environment in the world, they said.

They made the remarks on the second day of the 89th Annual Convention of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama'at organised by its Bangladesh chapter in the capital.

Representatives from USA, Australia, Canada, Germany, India, Pakistan and other countries participated in the event.

Mohammad Kholilur Rahman, a delegate from USA, said Khelafat [an Islamic system of governance in which the state rules under Islamic law] is the only way to unite Muslims around the word.

Speakers also focused on spread of Ahmadiyyat in West Bengal and Assam.

Ahmadiyyas' Khalifa will address the concluding session of the convention at 4:00pm today.
