India: Ahmadiyya Prayer Center Attacked at Kamareddy Near Hyderabad


Even before starting to use the facility for the intended purpose, thee mischief mongers have attacked it at noon today. The windows and doors of the prayer house have been smashed and destroyed.

A mob of about 150 hooligans from the extremist group, Tahaffuz Khatme Nabuwwat, attacked a newly acquired prayer center of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community at Kamareddy, in Andhra Pradesh, India.

Kamareddy which is about 120 Kms from Hyderabad has a small Ahmadi Muslim community of about 12 families.

The new facility was purchased with the intention of converting it to a dedicated Salat Center.

Even before starting to use the facility for the intended purpose, the mischief mongers have attacked it at noon today terrorizing the community and spreading fears.

The windows and doors of the prayer house have been smashed and destroyed.

3 elders of the community received injuries including a hand fracture of one of them.

Police arrived at the scene of incident and dispersed the crowd and brought the situation under control.
