Sierra Leone: President Koroma Lauds Ahmadiyya Conference


President Koroma noted that Islam is a religion of peace and tolerance and that Sierra Leone has been known as a great religious tolerance country in the world.

President Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma has congratulated and commended the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat for their contributions towards the development of Sierra Leone in the areas of education, health and overall development of the country.

President Koroma also said that the Ahmadis have contributed immensely in spreading the truism that Sierra Leone is indeed a religiously tolerant country in the world.

Delivering his keynote address and formal opening of the 52nd Jalsa Salana annual conference in Bo, last Friday, President Koroma said he attended the very important occasion to celebrate with the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat to show appreciation which Sierra Leone owes the Jamaat for all what it has done for the country in terms of development.

President Koroma noted that Islam is a religion of peace and tolerance and that Sierra Leone has been known as a great religious tolerance country in the world.
