The largest Ahmadiyya Mosque in BC will be inaugurated in Delta on Saturday (May 18) at 9750 River Road at 11 am.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at invites all British Columbians at this public inauguration of the Baitur Rahman Mosque (House of the Gracious God) between 11 am and 2 pm. Thousands of guests including dignitaries are expected at the opening ceremony to witness the event.
The community requests all British Columbians to visit our official mosque website (www.vancouvermosque.com) and register your participation.
Baitur Rahman mosque will be one of the largest mosques in British Columbia.
It is a great honour for the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada that this mosque will be inaugurated by, His Holiness Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad. His Holiness is the preeminent world religious leader championing the promotion of interfaith dialogue and world peace.
Baitur Rahman mosque will be a place of worship for all. The Holy Quran directs that a mosque should be built to promote piety and righteousness among the believers and should not be used to create division. The Holy Quran says that a mosque is a place of worship like other places of worship, primarily meant for the remembrance of God.
The Baitur Rahman mosque will be a key venue for holding inter-faith dialogue and community activities with people of all religions in order to promote peace and harmony.
