In commemoration of the Platinum Jubilee of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association India (Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya Bharat), a two-day book stall has been organized at Hosangadi Marketplace in Manjeshwar.
Bordering Karnataka, Manjeshwaram is a small coastal village in Kasaragod district at the northern edge of the Indian state of Kerala.
The event, organized by the local chapter of the Youth Association, was held on May 11th and 12th, 2013, it was reported by Abdus Salam M, a local organizer from Mangalore town.
With Book Stall prominently located near the Hosangadi Bus Stop, the organizers say, they were able to convey the Ahmadiyya message of peace to thousands of people in this Muslim-majority area.
The local president of the Youth Association M.U. Munawar Ahmad and local chapter president M.P. Ibrahim were on hand in arranging the Book Stall.
The presidents of the two nearby chapters, Mangalore and Mogral, also visited the venue, it was reported.
