The Mayor of Dudley Councillor, Alan Finch officially opened the event where the public was invited to watch demonstrations from The Sea and Air Cadets.

The first Royal British Legion's Poppy Picnic to be held in the Midlands by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association mosque, Halesowen took place today.
This mosque in Halesowen has also been showing its support of the armed forces by hosting its first ever Poppy Picnic to support the Royal British Legion.
The event was organised by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association and officially opened by the Mayor of Dudley, Councillor Alan Finch.
There were also demonstrations from The Sea and Air Cadets.
