Australia: World Muslm leader will lead Eid prayers from Sydney


It will be the first time that Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad has led the Eid prayer in Australia. Millions of Ahmadi Muslims will watch the sermon as it is broadcast on MTA International and streamed online.

His Holiness will lead the Eid prayer from the Baitul Huda Mosque

The World Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad returned safely to Sydney on 14 October 2013 after a short flight from Melbourne. As he arrived at the Baitul Huda Mosque at 2.45pm, His Holiness was greeted by hundreds of Ahmadi Muslims.

During his 5-day stay in Melbourne, His Holiness delivered the first ever Friday Sermon by a Khalifa of the Promised Messiah in the city; he delivered the keynote address at a Special Reception; he inaugurated the Ahmadiyya Centre in the city; he held various educational classes with Ahmadi Muslim youths and he met personally with hundreds of Ahmadi Muslims.

On Wednesday 16 October 2013, His Holiness will lead the Eid prayer from the Baitul Huda Mosque. It will be the first time that Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad has led the Eid prayer in Australia. Millions of Ahmadi Muslims will watch the sermon as it is broadcast on MTA International and streamed online.
