Pakistan: 3 Christians charged with blasphemy


The pastor, Adnan Masih, is accused of writing derogatory remarks in a book about Islam; he is currently on the run from authorities.

Three Christians, one of them a Protestant pastor, have been accused of blasphemy in Lahore, Pakistan’s second-largest city, according to multiple media reports.

The pastor, Adnan Masih, is accused of writing derogatory remarks in a book about Islam; he is currently on the run from authorities, UCA News reported.

Mushtaq Masih, the owner of the bookstore in which the alleged blasphemy took place, and Irfan Masih, Adnan’s brother, have also been arrested and charged.
