Don Snell along with Graham Davis and Linsey Rath visited with Muslim worshipers following Friday prayers at the Baitun Nur Mosque, which paid tribute to remembering and honoring Canadian military members.

Baitun Nur is Canada’s largest mosque complex which was inaugurated in 2008 by Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, the spitual head of the worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper of Canada had joined His Holiness Ahmad in the unveiling of the mosque.

Over on the east coast of Canada, in Maple, Ontario,  members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community were out in force Friday selling poppies in honor of veterans for Remembrance Day.

The poppies were sold in front of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Baitus Salam Mosque on Jane St. in Maple.

Beyond the Canadian borders, in the UK, hundreds of young Ahmadi Muslims from across Great Britain are collecting money for the Royal British Legion's annual Poppy Appeal.

The Provence of Alberta’s veterans’ plates feature a poppy in honor of former and currently serving members of the Canadian Forces, the RCMP and Canadian police departments who served under NATO or the United Nations.
