After a 15 years gap, the local chapter of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community again organized a bookstall at the Chandigarh Book Fair from November 13 to November 18, 2013

The most popular item from the outset was the Holy Qur'an with Punjabi translation published by the worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.

The Ahmadiyya bookstall saw more than 50 copies - all the first stock brought to the stall- of the Holy Quran sold out in just the first 2 days.

All the different translations of the Holy Quran were very much applauded by the people of Chandigarh.

The basic aim of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community to participate in the Book Fair was to spread the Islamic message of peace, loyalty, brotherhood, harmony and respect through understanding one another.

The visitors particularly appreciated the book 'World crisis and the pathway to peace,' by His Holiness Mirza Masroor Ahmad, the worldwide head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.

It was a first time for the Chandigarh chapter of the Ahmadiyya community to experience such a great success of their local bookstall as the response by the public was warm and  tremendous.
