As part of its annual Islamic programmes, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat in Sierra Leone has scheduled 7 to 9 March, 2014 for their 53rd Annual/National Conference (JALSA SALANA) to be hosted at the Ahmadiyya Muslim Secondary School in Bo, southern Sierra Leone.
The primary purpose of the convention is to enable attendees to personally experience religious benefits, enhance their knowledge and elevate their perception about Allah.
According to the jamaat, one of the secondary benefits of the annual conference is that it would promote mutual introduction and brotherhood among all brothers, as well as strengthen the fraternal ties within the Ahmadiyya community.
The occasion, according to the jamaat, would not be an ordinary convention "but one that would be essential for all those who can afford to undertake the journey, that they must come to attend the convention which embodies many blessed objectives".
"They should disregard minor inconveniences in the cause of Allah and His Prophet (peace be upon him). Allah yields reward to the sincere persons at every step of their way, and no labour and hardship undertaken in His way will ever be wasted," stated the jamaat.
The jamaat emphasized that one must not rank the convention in the same league as other ordinary human assemblies, as it is a phenomenon that is based purely on the divine help for the propagation of Islam.
