Ahmadiyya Muslim Community announces the historic Silver Jubilee celebration of Bait ul Huda Mosque at the 25th annual convention of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community being held from 18th till 20th of April in Marsden Park, Blacktown.

The land for Bait ul Huda Mosque at Marsden Park was purchased in 1983. Hazrat (His Holiness) Mirza Tahir Ahmad, the fourth Caliph of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, laid the foundation stone on the 30th of September on his first visit to Australia in 1983.

The Ahmadiyya community in Australia was registered as the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association of Australia Inc on 7th September 1987.

The mosque was opened on the second visit of Hazrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad, the fourth Caliph of Ahmadiyya Muslim Association, in July 1989. The name Bait ul Huda means the House of Guidance.

Over the period of past 25 years, the Bait ul Huda mosque has played several important roles. The mosque has been a place for congregational prayers 5 times a day, a community and convention centre where Ahmadis from all over Australia come to connect and bond with each other, a place for spreading the message of true and peaceful Islam as originally taught by Prophet Muhammad (on whom be peace), a place for celebrations where Ahamdis get together to observe Islamic festivals and a place for education where children and youth receive spiritual training and religious education.

In Ahamdiyya Islam mosques are more than "places of worship". Mosques are dynamic and multi-faceted community, convention, care and learning centres where Ahmadi Muslims from all walks of life interact with and benefit from each other.

The Bait ul Huda mosque also has the distinction of being duly represented at non-religious events like Australia Day, Clean-up Australia Day, Red Cross Door Knock Appeal, Peace Symposium, Blood Donation drives and support for the Deaf and Blind.
