Perspective: This isn't Islam
This is not Islam, it is not even a twisted version of it; this is simply a group of sick-minded people who are hiding behind religion to attempt to justify an unjustifiable act, and I hope the public does not mix up the two.

Recent events in Nigeria are nothing short of a tragedy, but what makes them worse is they are fuelling a tragic misrepresentation of Islam.
If the leaders of Boko Haram think for a moment that they can let millions of peace-loving Muslims take the fall for an act as horrendous as this one, then they are horribly mistaken. I urge them to take a look at the Qur'an and find a single syllable that will back up what they have done.
This is not Islam, it is not even a twisted version of it; this is simply a group of sick-minded people who are hiding behind religion to attempt to justify an unjustifiable act, and I hope the public does not mix up the two.
