South Region of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, UK, held a faith outreach stall amid the busy shopping centre in Croydon; called The Whitgift Centre.
Organizers erected a tent in the early morning on May 25, 2014, displaying Kalima shining bright, illustrating the community produced literature and showing that Islam does in reality promote peace, love and a global unity amongst everyone.
The members managed to keep the tent busy throughout the day.
Members from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Women's wing were also present explaining to the visitors that Islam does not think of women as inferior, rather promotes the equality of women.
The busy shopping centre allowed members of the community to walk past the stall and read the books and at least 62 people stopped to ask questions and had a mutual dialogue with the members of the community.
Many members of the general public were attracted to purchase the book ‘Life of Muhammad and various peaces of literature was also distributed.
Several community elders, women members and various other community volunteers helped out throughout the day.
