UK: Young muslims climb UK's highest peaks for peace
The 30 young volunteers will climb to the top of the highest mountains in England (Scaffel Pike), Scotland (Ben Nevis) and Wales (Snowden) in under 33hrs. They hope to raise more than £7500 for the British Red Cross.

Members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association (AMYA), including one from Yorkshire, are today scaling the UK's highest three mountains to raise money for charity and to promote peace.
The 30 young volunteers will climb to the top of the highest mountains in England (Scaffel Pike), Scotland (Ben Nevis) and Wales (Snowden) in under 33hrs. They hope to raise more than £7500 for the British Red Cross.
The group of British Muslims also see the hike as a symbolic opportunity to promote peace, and to dismiss false stereotypes levelled against Muslims in the UK.
