"Why are we being asked to condemn the persecution of Ahmadis? Why are we being asked to condemn killing of blasphemers and atheists?"

NEW YORK: President-Elect Donald Trump has already softened his position on a few of his campaign promises. One such promise was the call for a complete ban of Muslims entering the United States.

According to sources within the Trump transition team, senior officials have warned him against such a rash move that could make him unpopular with many American communities. Instead of a blanket ban, Trump’s immigration team has therefore come up with a unique vetting tool to root out what they refer to as the “growing cancer of radical Islamic terrorism.”

As part of this process, the Trump team will use the visa application process to filter out extremists and potential terrorists from American soil. Khabaristan Times has obtained a draft of the proposed visa form that is scheduled to be effective January 21, 2017. The G3 section of the form, which is specific to Pakistan, is copied below.

When an ICNA (Islamic Circle of North America) official questioned these new requirements, Senior Trump official Steve Bannon responded:
“We are merely asking Pakistanis to disown religious persecution, blasphemy laws, apostasy laws, violent Jihad, and to endorse universal freedom of conscience. Basically, to attest to being decent humans. What is wrong with such a requirement?”

Meanwhile, the clerics in Pakistan are deeply disturbed at this new development. They are outraged, with joint protests already planned in major cities across Pakistan. American flags are being stitched together en masse to be burned outside Mosques this Friday. Tires have been stolen off parked cars to be burned in the streets after Juma prayers.

Mufti Naeem of Jamia Binoria has condemned Donald Trump and his move and called it an “open discrimination against the people of the Umma.” He further lamented the state of human rights in the West.

“Is this what they call human rights? Lakh di lanat! Even animals are treated better than this in Pakistan. Trump must learn from us!”

When a reporter reminded him of his harsh fatwas against other sects like the Ahmadis and Shias, he replied, “I was talking of the rights of animals, not devils!”

The massive crowd appreciated the brilliant comeback, chanting “SubhanAllah! MashAllah! JazakAllah!” in unison.

Ahl-e-Hadith leader Mr. Sajid Mir said he plans to lead a million march outside the GHQ in Rawalpindi. He said he believed the Pakistani army was responsible for all of this mess.

“One of the generals has a friend who is Qadiani. It must be him behind all this. Didn’t I say that we will be all be doomed? I could sense it.”

The Shia Ulema Council and the Barelvi Sunni Tehreek also condemned the move in a joint press conference and called it “an attack on Islam and the Momineen and the lovers of the Rasul.”

Multiple clerics at the press conference said they could smell a conspiracy of the Jews and the ‘Qadianis’ behind all this.

“Why are we being asked to condemn the persecution of Ahmadis? Why are we being asked to condemn killing of blasphemers and atheists? Why all this pressure is being applied on the innocent Ulema of this Holy land? Why all these restrictions on the Umma? Is this fair? Haan?,” read their joint statement.

When reminded they would only have to fill the form if they wanted to travel to the United States, Mr. Yaqoob Noorani told us in private, “My worry is not filling the form and going to America. My worry is filling the form and the visa being rejected. My own followers will skin me alive.”

Meanwhile in Washington D.C., President-Elect Trump was asked how he would ensure Pakistanis do not lie on the form. “We will make everyone who fills the form, read it aloud on video, okay? And we are going to put the videos on YouTube, okay?” he told Khabaristan Times.

“This will all be public, so no one can lie in private. Okay? We will make America safe again!”
