Darul Aman (Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Center), 2113 38th St., Kenner, will host a celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr, Islam's second largest holiday, marking the end of the month of fasting, on July 29, with a program at 10 a.m. and lunch at noon.
As the Holy month of Ramadhan draws to an end, Muslims prepare for the festive holiday of Eid-ul-Fitr. The day is celebrated to glorify God for the countless blessings and lessons learned during the month.
The holiday is a meant to be celebrated with family as well as the less fortunate members of the community.
