USA: Rochester Hills mosque hosts open house to end Ramadhan


The event, which begins at 7:30 p.m., is open to guests of all faiths to share in the breaking of the Muslim fast with an Iftar dinner and to learn about Islam.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community of Metro Detroit is hosting an open house at its Rochester Hills mosque Friday, July 25, to mark the end of Ramadhan.

The event, which begins at 7:30 p.m., is open to guests of all faiths to share in the breaking of the Muslim fast with an Iftar dinner and to learn about Islam.

Organizers will field questions from guests including officials from the city councils of: Pontiac, Auburn Hills, Rochester Hills and Troy as well as the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office and various candidates for political office, including Bobby McKenzie and Dave Trott.

The mosque is located at 1730 W. Auburn Rd. in Rochester Hills.
