USA: Muslims for Life blood drive in Rochester Hills to honor 9/11 victims


In remembrance of the lives lost on Sept. 11, 2001, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA has launched a nationwide “Muslims for Life” campaign across its 71 chapters in nearly 50 cities across the nation.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community of Metro Detroit will host its annual Muslims for Life blood drive Friday, Sept. 12 at its Rochester Hills Community Center.

The event runs from 1 to 7 p.m.

In remembrance of the lives lost on Sept. 11, 2001, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA has launched a nationwide “Muslims for Life” campaign across its 71 chapters in nearly 50 cities across the nation. The group hopes to collect 11,000 units of blood and help save as many as 33,000 lives.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Center is located at 1730 W. Auburn Rd. in Rochester Hills.
