Qadian: Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal inaugurated the Civil Lines Road near Sarea Tahir Qadian Today.
Representing the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama'at, Mohammad Inaam Ghori, chief Secretary (Nazir Aala) India; Mohammad Nasim Khan, Internal Affairs Secretary; and Syed Tanvir Ahmad, secretary, external affairs, were present there.
After the inaugural ceremony Chief Minister went in Ahmadiyya Sarae Tahir where he was welcomed by the leadership of the Ahmadiyya Jamaat Qadian. Chaudhry Mohammad Akram introduced the Ahmadiyya Jamaat officials. Mohammad Nasim Khan read the welcome note and expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Badal on behalf of the community for accepting all the demands made by Jamaat.
Chief Minister was honored with an appreciation letter and presented a shawl by the Ahmadiyya Chief Secretary.
Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal addressed the gathering and praised the work of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community. "Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat is EILAHI JAMAT (divine community). If the Jamaat has any further demands. then they just have to order me."
"I will accept all their demands."
Chief Minister further asserted that the foundation of the Golden Temple in Amritsar was laid by a Muslim. He explained that the laying down of the Golden Temple foundation means to show the strength of brotherhood among the other community.
CM said that he will help make Qadian a Model City and will send Model Town Planner very soon here.
On this occasion Ex Cabinet Minister Sewa Singh Sekhwan, Dr. Abhinav Trikha Deputy Commissioner Gurdaspur and high level state officers had come with Chief Minister Badal in Sarae Tahir.
