Central chapter of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association, Majlis Khudamul Ahmadiyya (MKA), held a meeting with the local non-Muslim youths to further advance the peace and harmonious atmosphere in Qadian and surrounding areas.
According to Nasar Ahmad Ghori, one of the event organizer, nearly 30 non-Muslim youths had participated in the the first meeting organized under MKA's "Connecting Hands" initiative designed to promote social and welfare activities in the area.
The purpose of the meeting was to introduce Islam-Ahmadiyya teachings about about rendering service to fellow human beings, Ghori said.
The meeting was held at the Ahmadiyya hospitality suite, Sarae Wasim, near Ahmadiyya Ground where vice president of the youth association, Maulana Aleem, briefed the youths.
Aleem invited all non-Muslim youths to come and join the social and welfare activities of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community and at the same time assured non-Muslim youths that community always stand ready to help if anyone needs assistance.
A 10 minutes documentary about the the Ahmadiyya community's progress was shown and a special dinner was served after the meeting.
