Nigeria: Stand Firm Against Corruption Ahmadiyya Urges Buhari
The organisation called on Nigerian not relent in our prayers for God's forgiveness, perfect protection, excellent guidance, sound health, and long blessed life of service to humanity for the President-elect and other leaders.

Lagos — The leadership of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Nigeria has urged the President - elect, General Muhammadu Buhari to stand firm against corruption and other vices plaguing the country, as he hit the ground running for positive change towards socio-political and economic emancipation of Nigeria as from May 29th..
This admonition was contained a statement at the end of the National executive committee meeting of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat which held recently at its headquarters in Lagos.
According to the (Amir) Head of the Islamic organisation, Dr Mashuud Adenrele Fasola , "We admonish that the incoming regime should stand firm in the pursuit of truth, social justice and fairplay, probity, transparency, accountability, security of life and property, in the combat of insurgency, barbarism, and violation of human rights, and in the eradication of poverty and promotion of welfare for the generality of all without any discrimination whatsoever in all sincerity and in principle and practice."
The Ahmadiyya Muslim community in Nigeria believed that this is the only way to enjoy the protection, favour and special blessings of God of all creation.
The organisation called on Nigerian not relent in our prayers for God's forgiveness, perfect protection, excellent guidance, sound health, and long blessed life of service to humanity for the President-elect and other leaders.
It also remembered Nigerians who lost their lives during the campaigns and the elections and called on government to cater for the welfare of the orphans, widows and the injured.
