Qadian -- The elders' wing of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Majis Ansarullah, from Hoshiarpur and Jalandhar regions held a special convention, Jalsa Ansarullah in Gugh Village to observe the organization's Diamond Jubilee.
Maulana Sheikh Manan Ahmad Missionary In Charge region said that Maulana Abdul Momin Rashid vice President Majlis Ansarullah Bharat and Maulana Mohammad Yusuf Anwar area president of Majlis Ansarullah Bharat presided over the function.
After the recitation of Holy Quran many academic, sports and educational competitions were held in which a large numbers of elders took part enthusiastically.
On this occasion Itfal and Nasirat also took parts in different events which were organized by Majlis Ansarullah.
The community had organized a dinner party for the Jalsa participants.
Mr. Manmohan Singla Local Sarpanch, Nambardar Balvinder Singla, Ex Sarpanch Baldev Singla addressed the convention attendees. All the speakers appraised the social work which was being done by Ahmadiyya community.
Maulana Muzaffar Nadeem, Fakeer Mohammad, Imran khan, Ashraf, Mohammad Saleem, Abaad Ali, Abdul Manan, Sheikh Munawar Ali Sidiqi were the prominent personalities who took part in the event and made it successful.
The Jalsa was concluded with prayers.
