Members of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA are welcoming visitors to their Hallandale Beach mosque on Friday for an open house.
The event will take place at 1 p.m. at Baitul Naseer Mosque, 208 NW Seventh Ct., Hallandale Beach. Leaders of the mosque are hosting the open house to educate South Floridians about Islam, following vandalism at a Cooper City Islamic school and a threatening email sent to a Miami Gardens mosque earlier this week.
Those who attend will be able to watch the Friday prayer service, take a tour of the mosque and ask questions about Islam.
For more information contact Dr. Khalid Minhas at minhaskh@yahoo.com or (305) 942-1422.
