Perspective: Killing is never the answer | Haseeb Sheikh

A horrific tragedy occurred in Brussels — extremists, identified to be affiliated with ISIS, killed over 30 people and injured hundreds of others. As a young Ahmadi Muslim, I condemn this barbaric attack and offer my condolences to all the people affected in this senseless act.

The killing of the innocent, and killing period, should never be the answer. As a young Muslim growing up in this society, it’s terrifying to see how the name of Islam is being so extremely distorted and obfuscated to where all people are getting the wrong impressions because of the acts of a handful of misguided people.
