"We are happy, it all worked well, and there were no incidents," says co-organiser Altaf Bhatti.
A total of 91 visitors, community members, and businesses have donated; and nearly 60 of them were at the Start line as a runner.
"Many have also donated additional sums, over the minimum entry fee," says Bhatti.
However, the group of athletes mainly consisted of members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community and, according to Bhatti, only 13 external runners were part of the marathon.
